We can all agree that the past two years have been incredibly difficult on everyone. Teachers, nurses, social workers and the administration have been doing some heavy lifting, setting up virtual learning platforms quickly and then getting our children back to school for in-person learning.  I have been focused on policies that support our students and the school community across Bethel and Danbury.

I have fought for our kids by fully funding school health centers, providing grants to schools for counselors & psychologists, and initiating a state tax credit to help address rising childcare costs.

I will continue to support strong education policies that include:

  • Full funding for schools.
  • Equitable access to technology and education resources across Connecticut.
  • Universal Pre-K pilot programs.
  • Curriculum that empowers students to face the challenges of our times.
